I also really like ADHD Friendly Ways to Organize Your Life.
Permalink Reply by Janet S on September 30, 2012 at 10:01am Without a doubt my #1 is Dr. Patricia Quinn's '100 Questions and Answers about ADHD in Women and Girls'. Perfect format of Q & A, and lots of stuff about how ADHD is manifested in females I have yet to see anywhere else. Gave my the courage to battle the school who didn't believe my 'perfect' daughter could possibly have ADHD, and helped me realize months later that it wasn't a breakdown I was having, it was ADHD overpowering me at the ripe old age of 44 (after taking two coaching courses and getting hubby, son, and daughter diagnosed). ADHD is a tricky d*** thing and this book is tops!!!

Permalink Reply by Pam Moser on October 2, 2012 at 8:59am My all-time favorite is "Your Life Can Be Better" my Doug Puryear, MD. It is written in a very easy-to-read style by a doctor who has ADHD. The book is full of practical tips without lengthy scientific explanations about the hows and whys of ADHD.
