Relationships, Social Interactions, and just doing the human thing

OK, I dont know if anyone experiences this but it seems like almost everyone know has had at least one friend for life. I have never had a friend for life....I dont really seem to understand people and people dont understand me. Iam often labeled as anti-social (not the Iam gonna beat you up kind of anti-social). Is this an ADD thing too?

Hi Weslee,

I agree with Sherrie that this is a classic adult ADD symptom resounding in this community and in several books I've read about the subject. In our defense, however, I'd have to argue that the quality of a friendship is more important than its length. Having a best friend wrap their arms around you, in my humble experience, often "feels" better than talking to a good friend over the phone whom I've known for years. Hang in there ;-) you've a TON of supportive friends right here too ...passing along hugs :)

Oh Wow!! Thanks again everyone! It is soo nice just knowing that this is something that other adult add/adhd suffers go through. All of your posts ring true to me in one or more ways :-)
