ADDer World Anything and Everything ADHD

Anything & Everything ADHD

Hey people,
I have experienced this personally and it has caused a lot of problems for me and it still continues to do so. I have always somehow messed up roads no matter how many ever times I go down the same. Even, If the slightest turning or crossing is changed or missed, I am as good as lost in no man's land. Since, I stay in India there is'nt much assitance you can get through maps and directions. Do any of you suffer from chronically bad road sense? If Yes, How do you people manage it?

I have never had any sense of direction, or time for that matter, my entire life. As a teenager I would get lost going places and it would be pretty scary. Since that time, I pretty much have gotten used to getting lost and as long as I have gas in the car I am okay. I just enjoy the ride. I know eventually I will get to someplace that I am familiar with and can readjust my plans as needed. I am not sure what you could do to help in the situation being in India. I have a cell phone now so I can call the person or place I am going if I do get lost and I keep a pen & some paper in my purse so I can write down any directions they give me. Once I even had a friend stay on the line with me while I was driving so I could take it road by road. Maybe someone else here will have a better way to manage it that would work for you. I'm sure we are not alone in the bad road sense.
