I love my cat , she is different she has a tail of a pig but, she is normal to me. I like when I'm getting ready to go to sleep and she lays really close to me . I love that she does that because i get so lonely sometimes.

Hey, sorry everyone for the pictures of my Romy and Lakota coming out so enormously elongated! For some reason if I click on Romy's picture, I get a pop up in normal size. Lakota just stays stretched. Thankfully, I didn't put a pic of her turning right around. Not a pretty thought having a birds eye view of her bottom stretched out...lol.:). I always tell her she's "too pretty for her own good" because she's so expressive and all she has to do is look at me and I melt. Yes...I've created a monster as she's spoilt absolutely rotten and gets her own way most of the time. However, I'm still the "Alpha" when it comes to being challenged, which she tries on a fairly regular basis. Such a dominant, bossy little thing she is! Romy looks to her for approval instead of me, when it comes to jumping on the bed and eating her dinner...lol..:). However, if she doesn't get it, she then just sneaks past her and does it anyway.

Does anyone else in this group have a female dog that cocks their leg at trees most of the time and especially on walks? We have to stop at every tree, then she does the kicking of dirt like a male as well. It's no fun when I'm in direct line behind her, copping a face full of dirt. Sometimes she's goes at it so furiously, that she bounces up and down. Gets a bit embarrassing sometimes as she looks like she's having a fit or something odd going on with her...lol.. I love her dearly, she's made me laugh every single day of her 9 years with her personality plus funny ways.

Cheers, Michele

Hi all!
I was going to read all of the comments already posted but I really need to hurry along & get ready for work so I'll just say hi for now :-)
I have a yellow lab pup named Oscar ... he's 4 months old and makes me laugh all the time!
I love the little devil.... he's such a goober and I can honestly say he has given me this level of confidence and happiness that I am entirely new to achieving . . .
He is asleep on the bathroom floor right now.... upside down with his paws in the air haha :-)
Have a super day!!

Awwww....That is so nice that you rescued two kittens. Did you need to bottle feed them? Two years ago, my teenage son rescued a 4 week old white female kitten. She was so tiny and needed bottle fed. She was so adorable and I felt like a mommy doing "night duty" for 3:00 AM bottle feedings. My teenage son begged me for my help!

We named our little rescue kitten Sabrina and she is going to be two years old in a few months. She is still pure white, very beautiful and still playful at times. What is the most humorous is that she grew up with our yellow lab, Samson, in which they are best friends. They love playing games like "chase!" and they are so cute together!

My babies are Tiesto and Ty... I rescued Ty when she was just 2-3 weeks old from a parking lot on campus when I was in college. There was a cat and kitten project on campus because the campus and area had somewhat of a cat colony. It was not unusual to find kittens around campus and sometimes hidden in dorm room.
As I was leaving the building where the cats were sheltered, which was basically a floor with cages, food bowls, litter and cats scattered about a security gaurd asked if we were looking for a kitten (my then roommate, the professor, and I) and though we werent he pointed out a car and told us one was under it. Im always rescuing strays (probably cause I feel like one) so I went over and in the wheel well of the rear tire was a tiny kitten. I reached behind the tire and grabbed her... she bit me so hard her little tooth went all the way into my thumb at the tip and made a spot on my nail.
We took her up to the cat floor and put her in a cage with a little can of food in front of her. She was enough for tears. She sat in the middle of the cage shaking and looking around, obviously too young for the situation. I couldnt bear it and took her with me telling the idiot professor she was obviously too young to be without more intensive care. So began my life with Ty, for the first couple weeks she had to be bottle fed on a regular schedule and though I didnt feel right seperating from her I made her a bed and put my watch in it to mimic some sort of heartbeat. I would have had her sleep with me but she was so tiny I was afraid to move and crush her. I remember the first time she used the litter box and the first time she purred and even though I originally agreed to take her only for a little while.... I fell in love with her.
Once graduating I felt bad that she would be alone alot after being with me so much so I went on a hunt for a playmate. I always wanted a fat orange cat so I looked for an orange kitten her age.

I remember calling an ad and talking to the owner advertising an orange kitten and then saying well hes not really orange hes more white. I decided against it and continued my search. A couple weeks later I called an ad again for an orange kitten and it was the same guy... I decided to see the kitten and so ended up with a white cat with an orange tail and a couple orange spots on his head and one orange ear.

The two of them have been livesavers dealing with everything... They are rarely ever more than a few feet from me and are the most interactive intuitive cats Ive ever had. I wouldnt trade them. Ill post pics when I find good ones of them...

These are the 2 loves of my life and constant companions. Lakota is my beautiful 'big' girl and Romy is my gorgeous 'little' girl. Without them, life would be so empty. I feel so privileged to have them in my life!!

I'm new to this site as well as this group. But, I was so happy to see a pet lover group here! I am a mommy of two cats. My oldest is Cuddles, she's 8 and an orange Tabby. She is my best friend and familiar. You know how cats are supposed to be independant? Not Cuddles. She is like a dog in a lot of ways. She follows me around the house. We are a package deal. She has helped me through so much in my life!

My youngest is Daphne. I call her Daphne-do because she is always doing something. I often think she has ADHD too! Ever since I adopted her, the catch phrase around her is, "Daphne, what are you doing?" So, the "Do" thing stuck. She is a very special girl, though. She is 3 years old and has had a tough life until she became mine. She was dumped at a shelter and rescued the day she was to be put to sleep. She stayed in rescue for a year and a half and adopted. Then, her family took her back to the rescue because they supposedly had too many cats already. She stayed in rescue until I adopted her. She was very shy at first, but then her true self came out. She is very sweet and very smart. I spoil her rotten!

One day, I hope to have a rescue of my own. Until then, I am happy with my two girls and human kids!
