I am not a photographer by any means, my oldest is and takes really wild and great photos, but here is one I took one day at work of a Dahlia someone had on their desk because I wanted to use it in a drawing some day!
Ohhhh... that's soooo pretty! (Pretty to look at, sitting here at my nice warm computer...)
I love the composition on this one Kelly... the way the water curves around the bottom of the shot... and the reflection of that one downturned branch.
I am so jealous of your eye! It's a gorgeous shot, it really is!
Oh, Thank you Nerdy. My grandson has his mother's eyes. He's my pumpkin.
I found that little pond just down the road from me. Never noticed it before :)
Wow, should be doing homework as always, but found this sight instead! So fun! My dear lovely husband just gave me a canon xsi digital slr. I use Photoshop 7 to process, but could use many many more classes before I am very good at the whole color correcting thing and all that.
Catherine, I would recommend a local community college for digital classes, or workshops - oh, and usually the parks department will have some as well. It is really quite fun - and like lizard said, the instant gratification can be so rewarding, especially as an ADDER, because you don't forget to process the film.
Here is one of my favorite pics I have taken recently. It is just a house in my neighborhood shot through a dura flex viewfinder. So fun!
