PhyshBourne, there is a christian website that I think will encourage you, it did me. It is
christianadhd.com . There is a lot of interesting information that I think will help you in your Christian walk. It has scripture to back up what it is explaining. But always remember God said, "he would never leave us nor forsake us" and you aren't alone in this situation. I struggle with ADD but I know things always work out for me in my daily life and it will for you to. You are my prayers.

Absolutely awesome!
That's what I'm lookin' for!
You know - I got my diagnosis as an adult, just a few years ago.
Since then I'm looking for others like me: christians, ministers, teachers with AD(H)D.
I'd like to learn from their experiences to enhance my own life.
Of course I've learned to accept this special gift from the living G'd to his special beloved people but sometimes AD(H)D can be very annoying to survive every days life (especially with my two jobs) - as you might know.
Thank you very much, indeed!

Maybe there are more sites or blogs like this?

I tried to join that site, but I got confused--I didn't get a reply to my e-mail. So I'm glad to meet other Christians on here (when I actually have time to be here). My pastor has ADD and I feel for him. He really struggles lots of times leading worship and trying to teach/preach. I think he would rather do something other than pastoring a church for so long.

Welcome Suzanne! Glad to meet you on ADDer World and thank you for joining our faith group!
Do you know if your pastor grew up knowing that he had ADD or did he discover this late in life?
I did not receive my diagnosis of ADHD, until I was 33 years old. Does your pastor have a secretary or enough sufficient help in the church? Perhaps, he would benefit by delegating some responsibilities to others in a leadership role within the congregation?

To me it seems that what AD(H)Ders need is someone on their side.
For me as a pastor it's definitely my wife!
She's able to calm me down when I become… well… not too good tempered, she has the ability to communicate and is therefore able to mediate between the church and the pastor, and what is most important, she's able to put a mirror in front of me to make me reflect my behavior.
On the other hand everybody in the parish knows that I mean well and don't act like I do sometimes on purpose.
I'm willing to learn - that's what they all like and that's why I'm still pastor of this congregation.
And what DANA wrote is absolutely right: your pastor urgently need to delegate some responsibilities to others - that'll help!
I've learned it the hard way to do that: my health is not anymore what it used to be…
My wife works for church administration and sometimes she tells me about pastors whose behavior shows that they must suffer AD(H)D - and sometimes their conduct is unacceptable.
Now the point is - when I got my diagnosis it was a relief to me because I always felt … I don't know exactly how to express this in another language - well, I always had the feeling that there's something wrong with me, that I'm wrong.
But now I know that I'm not!
Instead I've a gift of creativity and am a special child of G'd with special gifts, i.e. because I easily develop a vision for the church and see where discussions lead to etc..
Unfortunately not all these above mentioned pastors are willing to accept the fact that AD(H)D may be an advantage for leadership and feel threatened buy someone who's telling them.
They answer: "There's nothing wrong with me! I'm not mentally ill! I don't need any help - I'm an adult!"
And so on.
So.
Does your pastor has the diagnosis?
In my opinion it seems to be more easy in that case to handle the whole issue.
Otherwise it's not that easy…
In my case the pain pressure (does that expression make sense in english?) was big enough to take the diagnosis.
Did you already talk with your pastor about AD(H)D?
