I have been wondering about my adhd and my faith and have been looking for a group that puts the two together. Have been reading posts and am learning I am not unfaithful to God, but that my attention spand gets in the way. I am so glad I am not alone finally.

I thank God for The Holy Spirit. When I am weak he is strong, When I am confused he is clear, and when I needed to make a decision about taking this medication doubt was all over me, but He gave me courage!

Thank you Dana, I do believe that. He has always taken care of me. I am trying to focus on all the things He has allowed me to walk through many things in life and I trust I will walk through again but never alone. God Bless.

Gladys, have faith that God is keeping you right in the palm of His hand. The bible says that "All things work together for the good of God" so trust that no matter what happens with you or your job, God is still in complete control and something positive will come out of this!

I wake up and thank God for the day. Coming to grips about the recent "discussion" with my supervisor is forcing me to put a lot of things in perspective. I kept thinking 30 yrs in workforce and I felt like I was being scollded. I know the Lord has always taken care of me dispite my irrational thinking and behavior. I know that coming to grips with my inattentive behavior in the type of work I currently do is a problem. I just believe and keep asking the Lord to guide me towards the right job.

Every day I am grateful to God for making me the unique creative, open artistic person I am. I would not change anything right now although there have been many times I have wished I did not have ADHD or depression or (fill in the blank). Thanks to God for the folks who developed the meds that work for me. I feel loved and protected by God and I know I am loved by my family and friends. I recently found someone to love and who loves me and I am more fulfilled than ever. I believe she was sent to me and she totally gets the ADHD quirkiness. And she is happy to talk about her love for God with me, something many others have not been willing to do. Peace to you all.

Thank you for sharing, David! Just this Sunday in church, our pastor spoke about sharing with others how God has changed our own lives. I loved what you wrote, "Now it is a time to heal and to share and to enjoy that amazing grace of the peace! that Guards the heart!"
