Hi Everyone!

I wanted to share with all of you that I have made some progress with having my articles published. Are you ready for some exciting news? I submitted five articles to an online women's magazine in May. The editor recently contacted me to inform me that she has accepted all five of my articles and she will be publishing them. The bonus is that I am getting paid for writing these articles! I am thrilled about all of this and it is an accomplishment that is so exciting! Having my articles published has been my #1 goal this year.

Has anyone else had writing published or has anyone literally written a book to attempt publication?

How did you get into writing and what do you enjoy the most about it? I got into writing as a young girl in elementary school. I started writing because it was a way for me to express myself and to be creative.

I have had one article published in a city-wide free publication.

One of my best friends, one who has ADD and with whom I talk with over the phone every Sunday night about our writing accomplishments for the past week and upcoming goals for the next week, is about to take the giant step of resigning from a boring job to do her life's work, which is getting paid to write articles. (How's THAT for a run-on sentence?) She has had quite a few publications in state-wide magazines and received payment. From being part of her experience in getting articles published, I KNOW what a tremendous accomplishment this is for you.
