The reading glasses are given for visual deficiency.
Colour filters are tints of a certain Hue that are put into lenses to be worn as spectacles. The tints are very specific to the person adult or child. The specific tint which could be any colour of the light spectrum ranging from purple to red that will give the individual optimum performance.I.e The writing starts to improve, so does the reading and when the person especially children see the difference that they are producing suddenly everything starts to fall into place.its wonderful to see that. Your eye doctor Should be aware of these things.

I normally see children with difficulty reading and writing and with it as a package deal comes, lack of concentration ,because they cant focus. Frustration because they know it but can write it.and they like some subjects compared to others.science for example she doing things with her hands and can talk about it. history, she churns information from memory.
literacy and numeracy is where they struggle because she has to write it down.
I normally work with colour filtersin spectacles, custom made to each individual child that works best for them, with the right colour filter in soectacles and the appropriate overlay on the reading material the childs reading and writing ability is vastly improved. try this with Elvie
hopefully she will enjoy school more and will be a high flier.
