Profile Information

About me & Relation to ADHD or other condition?
I have had Attention Deficit Disorder all of my life and it has affected me in all aspects of my life. I was finally diagnosed at the age of 37. I am an example of a "late bloomer" as most of us with ADHD are.

Who I am.

My name is Bryan Hutchinson and I have ADD. I was first diagnosed with ADD at the age of 37. Today I have a much better understanding of who I am compared with just a few years ago. All the pieces have come together. It has been a very liberating experience! I want to share that experience with you in various ways. One way, which has been an emotional and necessary way, has been to write a book about my life and creating this website ADDer World, to help raise awareness and understanding for our so called disorder, which can be a gift instead of a disorder.

I have a deep interest in helping others find help for issues which could be related to ADD/HD. Having lived most of my life with undiagnosed ADD I know firsthand how problematic and hard it can be to have extreme difficulties and not know why. I have written a book which tells of my struggles and why diagnosis was helpful and liberating. I also explain how I have used and continue to use my ADDer traits for success and happiness. ADDers are wonderful and creative people with fantastic attributes and it’s about time we stand up and use the positives to bring us ever forward to be happy and successful.

Thank you for the warm welcome, Bryan. I am very excited about my new blog - I am just starting out and having some "tactical" difficulties, but I have a blog installer helping me now, and she says I will be up and running very soon. I hope you will stop by - I can't tell you how much this site means to me.

I will definitely post here when I am "launching!"

Believe and Achieve,
Jill

Thanks so much for the welcome. This site has already helped me a lot. I mostly love the positive spin. My hubby is amazing and so talented. He's really incredible and I think most of that is due to the ADD. I'd say 90% of ADD for his is nothing but positive and helps him do so much good. I just want to understand that 10% that can be so frustrating for us who's minds don't work in such a brilliant way :) This site is perfect. Thank you.

Thanks Bryan for comming up with this. It is a place to let people know how I really feel about my anxiety , and people understand on here. I was always called crazy and I'm so sick of that word. sherry

Its not that the meds are not working, I'm at a point where certain skills that I never learned are hindering me. I'm at a point at my job where I'm board as hell but I can't change jobs due to my job performance.
