My name is Bryan Hutchinson and I have ADD. I was first diagnosed with ADD at the age of 37. Today I have a much better understanding of who I am compared with just a few years ago. All the pieces have come together. It has been a very liberating experience! I want to share that experience with you in various ways. One way, which has been an emotional and necessary way, has been to write a book about my life and creating this website ADDer World, to help raise awareness and understanding for our so called disorder, which can be a gift instead of a disorder.
I have a deep interest in helping others find help for issues which could be related to ADD/HD. Having lived most of my life with undiagnosed ADD I know firsthand how problematic and hard it can be to have extreme difficulties and not know why. I have written a book which tells of my struggles and why diagnosis was helpful and liberating. I also explain how I have used and continue to use my ADDer traits for success and happiness. ADDers are wonderful and creative people with fantastic attributes and it’s about time we stand up and use the positives to bring us ever forward to be happy and successful.

I just wanted to say thank you Bryan for putting yourself out there for others struggling through the same. I found you blog site while looking for answers. Since then I've bought one of your books and followed your link to this site. I'm a new member but already feel positive at the changes I've made. Thank you and please keep your voice out there as light to other lost undiagnosed. Awareness is power.
Forgive me, Bryan, for not thanking you for congratulating me on my upcoming book, Harvest of Hope: Living Victoriously Through Adversity. My nonfiction book provides a message of hope, healing, and rising above unrelenting hardships. Whether an individual is struggling with ADHD, depression, anxiety, medical conditions, chronic pain, or unfathomable challenges, this book shares my own personal journey. Despite adversity, each one of us may strive to overcome our trials to lead productive, victorious lives. While my inspirational book may not focus only on ADHD, there are four chapters sharing a glimpse of my initial journey. Once this book is published, my goal is to write a second book, which will primarily be based on my true life story being an ADDer mom raising three ADDer kids. After dealing with this for 17 years, I've gained some insight along the way. Ultimately, YOU have been a positive influence in my ADHD journey and I thank you for that!
Hi Bryan,
Thanks so much for the friend request & your message. Hope you enjoy reading the blog article I referred you too. There was another I had written awhile back but can't remember.. Is it old age or ADD? - Hmmm that could be a future one!! lol
Looking forward to reading your book after some MUCH needed sleep!!
Cheers to you!
Sue

Thanks for updating me on the gold stars, Bryan! Isn't that just like an ADDer to miss the announcement!? LOL!
Hi Bryan! I wanted to inquire about the gold star that is on the bottom right side of my profile picture. Perhaps, you already made an announcement about the gold stars & I missed it? Thanks for catching me up to speed! :)
