- About me & Relation to ADHD?
- I have ADHD & am a mother of 3 who also have it, ages 10, 13, & 15. I am divorced (my choice) and my boyfriend of the past 2 yrs has the inattentive-type ADD & a son with the same. Altho his son is diagnosed, my bf is not...YET, lol. It is extremely obvious to me, but he is not so ready to admit to it. It is having some pretty serious effects on our relationship, though, so I think he is considering treatment now.
I myself have been taking ownership of my own condition for several years now. I understand both how overwhelming life is before treatment & how much more peaceful it can be once we learn how to gain some control over our natural shortcomings. I yearn for that for my bf.
