Profile Information

About me & Relation to ADHD or other condition?

I have just recently been diagnosed with ADHD. My son was diagnosed with Anxiety NOS, Disruptive Behavior Disorder at age 5, he is now 9. He has been assessed for ADHD but tests were "not valid" due to some developmental delays those tests were at ages 6 and 7.

We still don't know what exactly is the deal. I am very ADD and now also divorced with an ex that views me the same way. We should chat sometime! I bet we could learn alot from each other. My 10 yr old daughter is all ADHD. She and I both are on meds. She takes Lexapro for mood stabilization and Vivanse for ADHD. I take Concerta for my ADHD, but I am finding that I build a tolerance quickly. Meds are life changing!

Please lets talk about our sons and compare notes!
