Well...I'm not a doc...but really, no drugs can be guaranteed to be 100% safe for anyone. I'm sure you know that and I don't mean to scare you. I'm just very hypersensitive to that fact because I am so sensitive to medications and am that person t...

Hi again, I just want to let you all know that I was in a very bad "place" last night. I dropped my daughter at her dad's, almost an hour away. She is 16 and we are very close, but she has chosen to live with a controlling jerk who can be a bully,...

I sleep from about 1:00-7:00. On the weekends my husband lets me sleep in on Saturdays - it is a great thing! Sometimes I nap when my 5 year old naps.... I don't know if you have contact with her therapist, but if your client has ADD and bipolar,...

Thanks for your input! My client is on medication for the bipolar, and I've just begun working with her, so i haven't seen any dramatic mood swings or a cyclical nature to her symptoms. That's why I'm thinking ADD is involved. She does have proble...

Tere, Flakes aren't so bad.....we're fun. I try to avoid those who can't appreciate/tolerate our quirks. : ) Please don't compare yourself to everyone else. It's taken me a long time to learn that, but it has saved my sanity!

Michelle, I was getting sad reading this thread, because I could relate to it so strongly, and it hurt to acknowledge my "shortcomings". Thank you for your insight and "kick in the pants". I needed that reality check!!

HELP! Does anyone have info or experience regarding Bi-polar as a comorbidity to ADD, or knowledge about the difference between the two? I have a coaching client who has been diagnosed with bi-polar, but seems to have MANY symptoms of ADD.
