Hey there, good to meet you! I hate to think what is in my fillings? Most were done on military bases as a kid!

I don't know how many times I tell my husband at the end of the day "I know i was busy all day but I didn't get anything done!" Just read your reply to the discussion "you know you have ADD when.."
That's some interesting info on the metals. I will have to read up on that, thanks for the heads up. :)
Thanks to all of you for your welcoming comments. Yes, I had quite a few amalgam (silver) fillings, most of which I had already had replaced, with 3 remaining when my OMD had me take the test. The half-life of mercury is 16 years, and silver amalgam fillings are made of mercury, which leaches into your system, affecting cognitive processes (as did the lead in my case).
The thing is, mercury will reside in the fat deposits in your body, and chelation only removes heavy metals from the upper layers. I've had to take 6 months off from chelation, and will be taking another heavy metals test (Stone Temple Pilots, anthrax, led zeppelin,...lol), and will check the results before undergoing it again.
The greatest benefit to chelation, in my opinion, is the removal of plaque from the arterial walls. I haven't checked my cholesterol levels lately, but I'm sure they're better.
Welcome to ADDer World FL Potter! Glad to have you. Great to hear that the chelation therapy worked for you. I have been through it myself and it helped for me too. I had to have all of my mercury filled fillings removed.
Look forward to your input and learning more about you.

Hello Steve,
Enjoyed your post on "You know you have ADD when". Wonderfully funny and too true.
I think you're a high achiever though, you did throw the junk mail in the bin. How's that for a support group.
Maybe if I get rid of one more filling.
