For any ADDers who see a counselor or therapist (or have, in the past). Does your counselor or therapist understand your ADD and how it impacts your life?
I do. I've known I had d & a for awhile but only recently got diagnosed w adhd. They're called co-morbid conditions, but I think they're all apart of the same.
Hello Hzjewl, I'm kinda new to this blog stuff, but I'm really glad I found this one. I'm an ADHD and I'm pretty sure my 11 year old is as well. It must be difficult for you to be an ADD Mom during those teen years with your ADHD son...like teenhood isn't hard enough. Maybe you can help me out.
It is very nice to meet you. I've always wanted to visit Vermont.
Yes, I have had trouble at work is well. My whole career in fact because I don't just FREAK OUT and kiss the boss' behind. My most recent experience may have been my worst to date... but now I know about my ADD and 6 months ago I didn't.
I'll admit to being dazzled by the colorful yarn and knitting needles. I used to knit... needlepoint... but these days it is more photpgraphy, skiing of course and dealing with my clutter!!! But I am working on that!!!
REALLY... I hired a personal organizer... we are working toghether.
I am interesed in your name... Hzjewl... I would not do it justice by even trying...to say it... I am interested in getting to know you and your heritage... if you don't mind sharing...
Hi Hzjwel, Nice to see another fiber addict here. For me knitting is a great way to hyper focus and relax at the same time. Now if I could just bring myself to finish that sweater...and that pair of socks...and that weird alien toy (what was I thinking?)
