"My animal friends keep me sane and help me deal with a world I am often an alien in. Currently I have two LOVEABLE pitbulls but my horses which I no longer have, saved my sanity most over the years. I love all animals but work with and love horses…"

Profile Information

About me & Relation to ADHD?
I have ADD, and can be brilliant and inept, sometimes in the same day. I am a nurse X 27 years but right now work cleaning at FOOD LION warehouse. I love to ride and train horses, teach horsemanship, garden, fix things (at home or barn/stable) work and play outside as much as possible. Watch old movies, history and animal/nature
films, and play board games with my girls. Reread my favorite old books and find new ones to become favorites.I enjoy all equine related activities and equine sports that do not cause undue injury to the horse.I work at animal rescue and believe in helping
save the enviorment and learning about all aspects of nature, I love to spend time with my girls in pursuit of the above.

Hi Janice.

Happy to be your friend. Must say that I am not very active in here. If you are on Facebook, look me up there and add me.

7 Crucial Tips for Parents and Teachers of Children with ADHD "Uncommonly helpful, down-to-earth, immensely practical and readable Book." - David A. Crenshaw, Ph.D., ABPP. Director of Rhinebeck Child and Family Center, LLC

Books

“'One Boy's Struggle' is a real eye-opener! Bryan writes of hope and despair, and the all-too-common conflict between desperately wanting to achieve and please, yet suspecting that you’ll fail again… and soon.”
-Dr. Edward Hallowell

Book about Doubt

(Click Picture)

This is my latest book, which reveals how I overcome doubt and write anyway. Although, not about ADHD, it does talk about how I write day to day and maintain daily writing rituals and accomplish my writing goals. Also contains the story of how I wrote one of the most important ADHD memoirs "One Boy's Struggle" and much more. If you struggle with doubt, give this book a read.
