Hello, Thank you, creativity is one trait many of us share. I miss teaching ceramics, I have a studio called Mudslingers in CO. I loved the quiet and the humming of the wheel.

About me & Relation to ADHD or other condition?
Hello
Always knew that I had more energy, creativity and drive than others. I just have so many dreams and things I want to do in my head. School was fine but that was because I only focused on it. I did not socialize or have any other interests. I now run a large restaurant, bar and arcade and I drive the managers and staff nuts.

Hello Jeff !

I'm a French Canadian author who's presently writing a book about the good sides of ADHD. Particularly, I'm searching testimonies of positive people who can see it as a gift.

In reading your profile, I thaught you could be one of these persons. So, if you are interested to share your life experience with my future readers to help them, please contact me to my personnal address at :

As for me, I have always loved working with the public since I am outgoing and I love to socialize. I prefer working with people, not machines......Too boring working all by myself, unless I am writing an article, in which case, I need to be totally alone for the ability to concentrate on what I am writing.

When I was only 11 years old, I started to enjoy writing poems, short stories and articles. The older I became, the more I enjoyed writing. My mom used to tease me that if I would spend as much time on school work as I did on writing poems, I would get straight "A's!" LOL!

Last year, I started getting more active in freelance writing, again. I really have a passion for writing, encouraging others and helping them feel better about life. In May 2009, I had five of my articles published and it was so exciting for me!

Hi Jeff! Thank you for adding me as your friend! When you have the time, feel free to tell me about your restaurant business. When I was a teenager, I worked in a seafood restaurant called The Original Oyster House. I am a "people person" so I do enjoy working with the public, socializing and providing excellent customer service!

However, for the past 22 years, I have been working in the beauty industry as a Licensed Hairstylist/Makeup Artist. I love the beauty industry and helping others feel better about themselves!

Welcome to ADDer World Jeff! I am familiar with the restaurant business as my father owned several while I was growing up and I worked full time in them back when I was 12yrs old, until I was 18 and could get out on my own. The business itself is a very stressful one and can make normal people a little 'out of it' and it lends itself to treating others harshly. Try not to be so hard on yourself and from time to time sincerely say thanks to your workers and just as importantly, yourself! Thanks for joining our club!

Hello & Welcome Jeff! So nice to have you join ADDer World!

When I was growing up, I did not know that I had undiagnosed ADHD, but I did have much creativity, I loved writing short stories & poems and I had more energy.

In school, I could never understand how come I would struggle when I would study so hard and still never get the super grades that my girlfriends received. Once I reached my teens, I was mainly at school for 100% socialization purposes, not for education. I was a social butterfly and I loved getting involved with different clubs and groups at school.

When I was 33 years old, I was diagnosed with ADHD. It definitely helped me understand why I am the way that I am. For 22 years, I have worked as a Licensed Hairstylist/Makeup Artist in the beauty industry. I love this type of work and it is a very fun, creative position!

How did you end up getting into the restaurant business? What type of food do you serve? Do you find paperwork and the administrative end to business very boring and mundane? I love the social aspect of working with the public, but I prefer to stay away from the paperwork, billing and time-consuming work. How about you?
