Due to my current situation of seeing a pyscologist for the past year and then being diagnosed with brain cancer, I would encourage you to get a referral to a nuerologist at least once so you will know there is not a physical reason for some issues. Last year I really thought I was losing my mind and stuff and did not tell anyone but the pyscologist and he talked to my family doctor who referred me to a nuerologist and well a whole story there...........
But, I had some auditory and visual distortions happening and talk about freaking out? Anyway you need to do what reassures you personally to know what you are dealing with and get the proper assistance.
No offense to pyschiatrist or anything, but they are usually into prescribing meds, you should find a good pyscologist that will listen to you and help you sort out the whole symptom thing. I believe in most states, like Oregon, they do not prescribe meds, but can work with doctors on the right ones to try! Good luck,.

I used to have them too frequently; to the point I feared losing my ability to breathe. Therapy did wonders for me, but we really need to right person who we feel understands. I have a child with ADHD and a toddler with PDD which will likely be diagnosed with ADHD when he gets older. And these days, I've been questioning if I have it too.
