neurologist or psychiatrist? which one to choose?

Lately, I have been thinking of getting a new doctor to treat my panic attacks. I think they may be adhd related but am not sure. I have had two psychiatrists that didn't help me and I am just out cash because I don't have a good mental health plan.…

Last year I really thought I was losing my mind and stuff and did not tell anyone but the pyscologist and he talked to my family doctor who referred me to a nuerologist and well a whole story there...........

But, I had some auditory and visual distortions happening and talk about freaking out? Anyway you need to do what reassures you personally to know what you are dealing with and get the proper assistance.

No offense to pyschiatrist or anything, but they are usually into prescribing meds, you should find a good pyscologist that will listen to you and help you sort out the whole symptom thing. I believe in most states, like Oregon, they do not prescribe meds, but can work with doctors on the right ones to try! Good luck,.

About me & Relation to ADHD or other condition?

I have a child with ADHD and a toddler with PDD which will likely be diagnosed with ADHD when he gets older. And these days, I've been questioning if I have it too.
