"wow that's awesome!! I've only known for just over a year, and I'm still trying to figure out how to look at it. Some days I've got it, no problem, other days not so much. That's so cool that you are starting to look at it…"

How To Develop Your Sense Of Time...

I ran across this article on wikihow while searching for something completely unrelated. The introduction completely described me to the T, and many others can probably relate. Check it out:

It was pretty interesting and totally makes sense to me.... maybe there is hope yet for us time challenged individuals!

Just Another One Of My Useless Bits Of Information....

So my boyfriend, friends, co-workers, and family are always making fun of me because during a conversation about a particular subject, I tend to have this uncontrollable urge to blurt out little tidbits of useless trivial facts about this subject that I just happen to retain from reading or watching TV. I have no idea why I retain this information - or what good it has actually served me other than it amused me at one point.

Anyway, having explained myself above (gotta love a… Continue

Sabotage Myself???

So I have noticed a disturbing pattern that seems to really flare up when I am under extreme stress... I spend money that I don't have!!! To me, it feels very similar to when I really want to try to be on time but end up late... When I have so much going on in my life, it's almost like I just throw in the towel and say, "hey, why not just loose everything". With work, my house, school, and constant financial strain, I have noticed that with all of the stress that it brings, I make it much… Continue

Indeed, we all quickly become friends here :) isn't it wonderful?

About the concept of time, I just wrote about it on my personal blog here:

http://www.adderworld.com/blog1/2008/09/06/the-concept-of-time-for-someone-with-adhd/

Lizard wrote about it being September already and got me kick started on writing that post. Enjoy :)

Only two meth labs? That’s not that bad. I think you get 4 per neighborhood in Fontucky. I focus on the good things about SoCal, like 300 days per year of sunshine, Mexican food and the fact that you could surf and snowboard on the same day 2 hours apart. I live an hour south of Chicago( = cornfield + bad weather.) My house in CA almost burned down twice from fires though. Lol ever go to Glamis? I miss the dunes. And Magic Mountian. And Chaparral. And driving on twisty roads. ;)

I could stay up all night, and not go to bed, waiting to go to work and STILL be late. Or the day I'm up and ready to be twenty minutes early, it will take me 25 minutes to find my keys. San Bernardino huh? Had I known such a beautiful little adder like your self existed only minutes away, I'm sure i would have stayed in the 909. I love it there. I had quite the party chalet in Running Springs when I was 21.Then I bought a house here. Lived there five years.

Time and space are elusive concepts at times for me also! I have to reaclimate myself each morning with my planner to know what day it is and at times, what month it is!
