i discoverd ADHD at the age of 21, after my 3 year old son was having problems. Although he was too young for a diagnose the dr. was nearly sure he had it. After that at the age of 5 he was officialy diagnosed. I started investigating about adhd on the web and suddenly years and years of early frustration in school and in social life were finally clear to me. I had un diagnosed Adhd. I was very happy at that moment that i finally understood myself. I Kept on researching for the final goal of being well informed and bieng able to help my boy. My son is 9 years old now and is still under going therapy and medicacion. I myself have decided not to take medication after all but rather try to cope with my symptoms.

My welcome may be a bit late but I have been away from the site for awhile......Despite, I had to give a good 'ol southern "hey" to all of the new members!
