"Thanks Riri! I still think Gyms stink... I would rather go out in the sunshine and work out, errr, walk around experiencing nature :-) Lisa, there are natural ways to help your memory, but none or foolproof. Reading and writing a lot will help your…"

Riri commented on Lisa's blog post Improving working memory
"Hi Lisa, I did hear about certain methods to increase memory, but never tried it because first, I don't know where in Jakarta I can do it; second, it seems like a lot of work :P. For the Brain Gym, I don't think Bryan would do it. He…"

Lisa replied to Anna Newman's discussion Is there a happy ending for people with ADD/HD?
"Dear Anna, I am 51. I was diagnosed at 49. I felt the same way. Great, I'll buy the books and take the meds and I'll be cured. That didn't happen. It's been trial and error but after 2 years I feel like I am making my success.…"

Lisa replied to Dan Halstead's discussion Can find a different word for it?
"I vote for calling them muggles. Doncha hate how long it takes for other people to catch up with things that are obvious to you. I think of my ADD is my creativity, my uniqueness. All I need to do is harness it."

Profile Information

About me & Relation to ADHD?
I am an adult with ADHD. Diagnosed at the age of 49 and now 51. Thought I had depression but now realize that I am anxious because I'm always getting hit by things I forgo about or didn't realize was coming. Like deadlines. Trying to learn to tame my brain.

Just stumbled accross ADDer world. Probably when (i) following a link from ADDITUDE mag or looking up the profile of a Bryan Hutchinson review of a book on ADHD on Amazon.
