I love EndNote, and as a student, there is a big discount. Last I checked it is only around $100 for students, either through your own software outlet on campus (some provide it for free, I know Emory University does, though my University doesn't).…
Hi everybody - I'm new to ADDer World, and excited to find a grad student group! I'm a grad student in wildlife ecology. I'm done with classes, and about half way through the research. The fun part of being in the field is over with, and now I'm fac…
Share your research/study strategies: organisational tips, time management - for all those of us undergoing doctoral study and who feel a little crazy at times. Let's reassure each other that we're not.
For any ADDers who see a counselor or therapist (or have, in the past). Does your counselor or therapist understand your ADD and how it impacts your life?
Thank you for your warm welcomes! Colorado is beautiful, though a bit drier than I am used to - we moved here from western North Carolina, after a few months in Atlanta, and I grew up in Seattle. I've heard Pittsburgh has become quite nice - I'm going to a conference there next August, and am looking forward to it.
Welcome to ADDer World Liz. I was diagnosed at 37 too, so we have more in common than just ADD! Thanks for joining us and looking forward to your input.
Hello & Welcome Liz! I have never been to CO, but I have heard that it is simply BEAUTIFUL! Are you from this area? I was born in Midland, Michigan, but was raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Once I was engaged, I relocated to Las Vegas, NV to live closer to my fiance'. My husband and I lived in NV for four years before we decided to start having kids and relocate back to our hometown in Pittsburgh, PA. We have been back here for 18 years so now it feels as if we never left!
I was diagnosed with ADHD about 12 years ago. Ironically, all three of my kids have been diagnosed with either inattentive ADD or full-fledge ADHD. There is never a dull moment in our home!
