Hyper focusing has been a life-saver for me too. It's great that you identified your son's conditions early. How are things going with him? We have a very active parents group on this site too.

- About me & Relation to ADHD or other condition?
- I have recently been diagnosed with ADD and find my executive dysfunction to be one of my greatest hurdles (amongst many others ;-) ). My tendency to hyperfocus, on the other hand, has been my lifesaver, and it even me helped to identify my 4 yr old son's Asperger's Syndrome and ADHD.
