About me & Relation to ADHD or other condition?

Hi there!!!! My Name is Melissa , I'm 28 & live in the beautiful mountains of (WNC) where I share a home with my the love of my life Jeremy whom I've been with for 8 yrs. Now being an ADD woman comes with challanges , how ever I just look @ my challanges as god made me different . Now my wonderful other half Jeremy suffers from ADHD him , my Jeremy is a wonderful, sweet, intelligent, honest & loyal man whom I could not imagine my life without him . The fact that I'm ADD & Jeremy is ADHD does make for a challanging relationship in general , but @ the same time we face an even bigger challange fitting into a world that is non ADD/ADHD . How ever even tho we struggle , @ the end of the day we are still together right by each other's side , our love for each other just as strong as the day we met . Jeremy & I both know without a shadow of doubt that god loved us so much that he created Jeremy for me & created me for Jeremy .

Aside from being in a partnership with the love of my life , I am a mother of a wonderful intelligent handsome 8 yr old son named William whom is a blessing from god .

Finally I would like to pay my respects to my beloved grand mother Bonnie ( god rest in peace) She always believed in me, never put me down , she never treated me different just because of my ADD . She thaught me to never let any obstical stand in my way & to never back down from a challange . She taught me that god made me ADD for a reason , just like he made everyone of us different . The biggest thing my grand mother taught me was that to always stand up for what you believe in , pray in everything you do but to also put love into everything you do .

Dogs will be dogs!!!!!!

Well It's offically been a week since I got Maggie & so far she's done great , accept for chewing up three pieces of my & Jeremy's window living room blinds after we left her in the house by herself yesterday for about 2 1/2 3 hours ( even tho before we left I walked her, she pottied and everything plus made sure she had fresh food and water) , now Jeremy I know that we are going to have to crate maggie to train her not chew on stuff , she's already potty trained so she has potentual , s… Continue

Well after months and months of Jeremy & I looking for a dog, we finally found our litte angel ( or should I say she found us) Apparently a family friend of Jeremy's has had this adorible little black and white female dog roaming arround his house the last couple of days , then on Friday night when Jeremy was hanging out with his friend , his friend introduced him to this little black and white female dog , she immediately took to Jeremy . Im still here....

Hello all , I'm still here !!!! sorry I haven't written in a while , Jeremy & I have been going through some issues , I haven't been sleeping very good lately which is some what due to Jeremy's snoring . It's been a while since I've blogged , I didn't do anything for halloween & we didn't have any tricker treater's in our trailor park since it did nothing but pour rain all day & all night , I wonder what my big man was for halloween or if Gerald & Grace( his adoptive parents) or if they did something different w/ him given the fact that they are very very very christian people. I'm a new comer to this whole ADD thing. I don't think it matters male or female as long as you find what you need! I hope your new therapist is just that!! I am sorry you had such bad experiences as a child and with your previous therapy attempts. I am happy that you can now embracing your ADD and have an understanding of its effects on your thinking. I can only hope to get there someday. Hopefully I will with the help of my therapist and people like you who, even though you are younger in years, have lived with the knowledge of having ADD longer and have plenty of experience to share! Try not to take too many supplements - I found it hard on my stomach. The thing is, you won't feel the effects of them for about a month of regular use. Good luck!

What do you mean, exactly ? What were your toys when you were child ? What kind of social problems did you have with the others and particularly, with the opposite sex ?

You also have French Canadian origins ? Great ! Of my side, I already went to Lewiston-Auburn, Maine, in 2006 and I didn't want to come back in Quebec ! I really enjoy the United States and hope to live there one day... I dream of it, for the moment... Also, my grand-father already live some years in Connecticut, with his family and I have many far cousins who live in your country, the most part, in the Massachussetts.
