Profile Information

About me & Relation to ADHD or other condition?

I was diagnosed with ADD at 27 yrs. old, I am now 33. I am also a TCK which is a Third Culture Kid, the new PC term for "Military Brat". I'm sure moving around a lot only fueled the ADD fire nicely....oh yeah, I have a mega-math LD, too. I am a skier but live in Florida which makes it a tad difficult. Rollerblades squelch my hunger for it a little every now and then I guess. Moguls are my fav, I love them. Volleyball is my other favoite. About to join a local team. Prefer playing in the sand. I started Adderall August 2008 for the first time. I got diagnosed in another state in 2001 so I got to go through that REALLY FUN testing again (beware of the DSM IV!!!! It is torturously long!). So I now have an official, documented, evaluated diagnosis of "Totally-Big Time-It Was So Obvious-Adult-ADD W/O-Hyperactivity" (which is why I refer to it as ADD, I don't have the "H" part).
