"This happens to me a lot.  I'll remember the positions of the people, their behavior, and my feelings about their behavior.  I thought that made me defective.  Good to know it happens to other people!"

Déjà vu

I found it interesting that Deja vu was part of the test I was given for ADD/ADHD,I Have had a few experiences over the years where I saw an image in my mind. Then days or weeks later I'm experiencing what was in my image exactly as I saw it in my mind weeks before.  So I'm wondering if this is common with ADDers. Have you had Deja vu?See More

About me & Relation to ADHD?
I just found out I have ADHD and am researching the treatments.
Share something interesting about yourself and life with ADHD.
Like I said above I just found out I have ADD. It sure does explain why I could not concentrate in class. When I read or am tring to listen to someone else speaking I drift off on something else, frustrating. My wife jokes and says its just selective hearing and I'm toning her out.
So last year I became disabled and unable to work. I found out I have Degenerative Disk Disease and my vertebrae are pressing on my spinal cord giving me Severe Spinal stenosis. So ok I'm dealing with that and then I have a pain in my abdomen end up in ER Then in Surgery. That's when I found out I have Crohn's Disease. Then they tell me I have a right bundle branch block in my heart and a slow heart rate. Then I almost passed out so I go for a tilt table test and find out I have Neuro cardiac syncope which means I could pass out if I stand too long or am in the heat too long. Ok so then recently I find out I have a problem with my right hip. I also have a bad knee on my left side, So now if I'm walking any long distance I have to use a walker kinda sucks I'm only 46. Now add to that Carpal Tunnel, chronic sinus problems, seasonal allergies, and am legally Blind in my left eye and now I have ADD. I must say next year has got to be better. Oh and I did apply for SSDI.
I'm really not looking for sympathy. I guess I just needed to put it out there.
I am Married to a Wonderful woman and we have 12 Children hers, mine, and ours. We have 3 boys at home ages 5,6, and 8. The six year old is my grandson we adopted He has Autism and ADHD. Quite the handful.
