About me & Relation to ADHD or other condition?
Ian was officially diagnosed in 1997, however, Ian suspected that he had a learning disablity since the early 1970's. Since being at Hamilton, Ontario's McMaster University, the Centre of Student Development (CSD)accommodated his ADHD with various academic accommodations...this has meant the world to him!

Ian now has his BA,Theatre and Film and had been working on his degree (first in music and then theatre and film) for 27 years. He has been asked to be the media spokesperson for Disabled Awareness issues at McMaster for 2009-2010.

Ian is an active musician, singer/songwriter and Arts Consultant working in areas of public relations, marketing and fundraising issues to his clients. In Fall 2009, Ian will also add "author" to his list of achievements as his book "Stirring My Soul to Sing, Overcoming Obstacles of ADHD" will soon be published.

McMaster University has asked me to be the "Learning Disablities and Awareness"spokesperson for 2009-2010

Hi Gang:

I just came back from a meeting with the Head of CSD (Centre for Student Development) at McMaster University, which supports over 2,500 students on campus who have diagnosed learning disablities and are aiming to complete their degrees.
