www.adhd-coaching-inc.org A Holistic Approach to Mental Wellness. As a Black male growing up with ADHD, Rodney knows far too well the importance of empowering the self-esteem of underserved children and families affected with this "disorder."
This is a group for all of those who want to discuss how their faith or fellow participants in faith respond. It may be a chance to present prayers requests or get ideas on how to advocate for adhd amongst various faith groups, or struggles.
For any ADDers who see a counselor or therapist (or have, in the past). Does your counselor or therapist understand your ADD and how it impacts your life?
As an adult living with ADHD, I know far too well the importance of empowering the self-esteem of individuals struggling with this disability. I approach ADHD from a holistic, strengths-based perspective which recognizes the connection between physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Spirituality, nature, meditation, diet, and family have all played a major role in my healing journey to mental wellness. In my efforts to share with and empower others, I facilitate monthly support groups and coach individuals around Metropolitan Atlanta on the coping skills needed to heal emotional distress. I want people who struggle with a mental illness to know that they can move beyond it and reach their full potential in life. I specialize with at-risk children and families.
I'm also a member of this community and a French Canadian author who's presently writing a book about the good sides of ADHD and more particularly, I'm searching testimonies of positive people who can see the gift in ADHD.
In reading your profile, I thought you could be one of these positive persons. So, if you are interested to share your experience with my future readers, please contact me to my personnal address at :

Hey Rodney, glad to meet you! Nice cat you have! Years ago, I lived outside of Hotlanta, my youngest was born in Gainesville. A quiet storm huh? Guess I could be described as a loud hurricane then with the hyperness I have at times.
