harry phillips replied to Katie M's discussion How do you deal with people who dismiss your ADHD and insist its just normal forgeting, ect;
"I think keeping your mouth is unfortunately the best solution. It is true that a lot of doctors are quick to label kids and adults with an ADHD diagnosis, so I think a lot of people look at it with some skepticism (like other  ailments such…"

Looking for recommendations for someone who treats Adult ADHD in houston texas

Hi all, I am new to this forum. Looking for recommendations, as I am trying to find someone who specializes in treatment of adult ADHD. Can you tell me who you like - who NOT to go to...any and all advice welcome. I have a hard-wired case of ADD (no hyperactivity) - had it for many decades - probably looking for meds - CBT - and traditional therapy as well. Would also consider a neurologist who treats ADHD, as this would probably be better covered by my insurance(Medical vs mental health).In…See More

“'One Boy's Struggle' is a real eye-opener! Bryan writes of hope and despair, and the all-too-common conflict between desperately wanting to achieve and please, yet suspecting that you’ll fail again… and soon.”

Book about Doubt

(Click Picture)

This is my latest book, which reveals how I overcome doubt and write anyway. Although, not about ADHD, it does talk about how I write day to day and maintain daily writing rituals and accomplish my writing goals. Also contains the story of how I wrote one of the most important ADHD memoirs "One Boy's Struggle" and much more. If you struggle with doubt, give this book a read.
