Just wondering if anyone has dealt with this situation. I'm a very light sleeper and the slightest noise or whatever will wake me up. Shane on the other hand is such a heavy sleeper. We have two alarm clocks in our room that I set to help wake him up in the morning along with the cell phone alarm. I have tried clustering them all together on his nightstand to spreading them throughout the room. He will sleep through all of them. So, since Shane has agreed to see someone and get back on medication, we were able to get him an intake assessment for next week. So, we are excited about that and looking forward to that. We both have agreed that he needs to get started with this individually first and then incorporate me at a later date. Now, to just deal with his "tweaking" episodes, going to have to and help redirect him when needed. My husband and I had a "talk" the other night and it was so nice to speak to each other calmly and be able to listen to each other instead of screaming and saying hurtful things to each other. So, I am actually happy I came across this website. I need support, advice, answers, and just people to talk to. My husband is a 31 year old male with adult ADD. He used to be on Stratterra and it worked great for him. Eventually, the side effects became too much for him, so he took himself off of his medication about 2 years ago. He did real well for a year.
