I am so excited to discover today that there is a brand new ADHD center located in Pittsburgh, PA! The therapist who first diagnosed me with ADHD over 11 years ago, has referred me to Dr. Oscar Buckstein who started the ADHD center in January 2009.

There are so many decisions that crop up on a daily basis. Some decisions are minor, such as "What flavor Starbucks should I drink?" OR "What shall I buy at the grocery store?"

Yesterday, while I was walking outdoors, I past a card shop with a plaque that said the coolest thing on it. It said, "LIFE MAY NOT ALWAYS BE A PARTY, BUT YOU MAY AS WELL DANCE WHILE YOU'RE HERE!"

After seeing two psychiatrists, one fibromyalgia specialist and one family doctor to resolve my adverse reactions to Cymbalta, finally I have received help for this ongoing challenge. Yesterday, I had my first appointment with another psychiatrist and I am so relieved that she agreed to take me off of Cymbalta, which had become a living NIGHTMARE! (Worsening depression, anxiety, irritability and more!)

For anyone who does not know me, I was diagnosed over 12 years ago with ADHD. Many years ago, I had attempted to try Strattera, Ritalin and Concerta, but I did not have a favorable response. I am feeling very heavyhearted after hearing distressing news today. My sister called me to inform me that my girlfriend who is only 45 years old past away. My girlfriend, Krissy, had a heart condition her entire life, but recently she had complications.
