Hello all ! Sorry I haven't blogged in a while , life has been rather busy , trying to keep up keeping the house clean , doing stuff for my mom , keeping my ADHD husband on a tight schedule , making sure he gets his chores done & gets his exercise . On top of all of that my mom ordered me my first Wireless Printer & a new Dell Lap top , all through the home net work called QVC .. My printer came Thuresday & my lap top came yesterday & since hubby left early this morning with his bestfriend of 26 yrs to go a softball tournament in BurnsVille NC , all entry fees go to help the local churches get supplies . Soo ! there for its just me & maggie today , soo far I have pretty much cleaned the whole house already , I have also mopped & swept my moms floors . I have pretty much already set up my computer , this new lap top have , is much easier to understand , it doesnt have as many fancy bells & whistles , unlike my old on , plus! its got a web came that can record & take still pictures, which is something my old lap top did not have . In other news .. Hubby & I are comming up on our 11 yr anniversary the 28th of this month , which is also hubby"s birthday , its amazing that we have lasted 11 yrs , the last couple of yrs we have ridden some really rough storm waves , I have noticed that when hubby exercises his focus is much better , I have also noticed that it helps with his Bipolar . To help hubby keep a constient routine , I have dry erase board , with the days of week to where I write down what needs to be done , especially when it comes to appointments . Now hubby is still never on time to appointments & he is having a hard time managing his time , when it comes to runnning arrouons , chores arround the house , I think major part of this has alot to do with his ADHD & his OCD , I know his ADHD & OCD feed off of each other . I know for me personally keeping up with hubby's OCD really aggrovates my ADD , not to menton it stresses me out , because no matter how hard I try , nothing ever makes the OCD happy . Doing simple tasks just as cleaning out his softball bag is a major task , simply because the OCD needs to be pleased , there for the short ten , fifteen minute task of cleaning out his softball bag , turns into a thirty minute task , simply because the OCD wants that task done a certain way & everything has to be perfect & if things don't feel just right , the task has be done over again , which in the end is the reason why it take hubby longer to do simple tasks . I will be honest its definately not easy to live with some one is OCD , because its like having a third person in your relationship & that third person requires to be happy 247 , & that can be very very stressful .. The biggest thing about OCD is that obbsessive though , not shutting off when the task is finished , that part of the OCD can be very aggrovating , especially to somone one like myself whom is ADD , once I finish a task I quickly move on to the next task , soo what would normally take 2 hours to do , takes me just an hour or less ..
However! inspite of all of the stress of dealing with my husband's ADHD & OCD along with his Bipolar , my husband & I some how make it work , there are many instances where my husband & I dont even have to express what we need , we just automatically know what each other needs , without even talking , we have our own little code & thats partly because we have been together 11 yrs , know what each other thinks right off the bat . Soo! think that's what helps make our relationship with , plus the fact that we love eachother & are soo madly inlove with eachother :)
