What is your hidden talent? What About Susan Boyle

Is there anyone who has not watch the heartbreaking, heart inspiring and just brilliant Susan Boyle Video on youtube? OMG!

Think about it, nearly 50, never been kissed and in a dress our grandmother’s, grandmother may have worn! Everything and I mean everything looked to be against her when she got on that stage! Nobody in the audience gave her a chance and even laughed at her, and, she stood there smiling and laughing with them. She knew something they didn’t…

What about you? Do you have something within you that keeps you smiling, even though everyone else may be laughing? I think we all do.

Here is the YOUTUBE video, if you have not seen it yet!

Never give in, never give up!

Actually, I think Dr. Phil is going to have a show. I talked with someone connected with the show and because I am in Germany, I probably would not be an option to be on the show :( Now, if you all created a petition to get me on the show :-) just kidding!

Bryan, I don't know how to post this idea for the group my computor doesn't work well. Also what about the people that are interested give you their ideas about what they think is most important to relay to the TV audience. If you get on Oprah.com or Dr.Phil.com you can click on BE ON THE SHOW. I think this could be a real possibility. Dr. Phil has a doctor on his show alot that has a big mental health and recovery facility in Texas his name is Dr. Frank Lawless I don't remember how he spells his name. Check it out.

Sounds like a fantastic idea Sally!

Liesl, that's a great way to get the day started - how inspiring!

Yep, I saw Susan's t.v. debut the morning after, and was SO inspired by her - I mean SERIOUSLY! I just had to forward the clip on. I have decided to watch it every morning to inspire me, because I can easily start my days right now with a pity party for myself. But watching her courage and her spirit - it kind of puts things into perspective. I am so thankful for her for trying out for the show!

Bryan I have an idea. A while back I emailed Dr. Oz who is on Oprah and asked if they could do a show about Adult ADHD. I don't know if they will but maybe if enough of us emailed him the same request especially you maybe they would and you could be on the show and promote your book. Usually when she has guest that has written a book she puts their book under each of the seats in the audience as a gift. YEA! Also Dr. Phil does the same thing. I will email him also about having a show.
What do you think? It would be a good way for people to understand ADHD.

I agree Riri - age should not be a factor! Oh, you are sweet and charming - arn't you?!

Bryan, you are ahead of me! I was just about to post a blog about her. What I admire about Susan is her loyalty to her dream. She has been keeping it for years and gladly welcome, without hesitation, the chance that was (finally) given to her. In my society, when people is reaching 50, people would tend just to live their current life, whatever the condition is, and would put away their dreams and ambitions because it would be too late to make it come true. It's definitely not the case for her. I guess I found a new hero.

Oh, don't be jealous, Bryan. You are still my hero :)

Thank you much Sally! I am also looking forward to seeing your photos. I was able to get a really nice Sony Cyber Shot for under $100 and it takes great photos :-) Of course, if you want to take more professional photos you will need something a bit better. Enjoy and stay the course!

Bryan, thanks for your interest I hope to get a camera soon. I bought your book and am getting ready to read it for a second time. Thank you for sharing your personal story with the world. It is really well done and I am going to take it to my daughters house this month when I go to visit her. Bless her heart she just can't let herself deal with my late diagnois of ADHD. She is getting ready to have her third child this month and so far none of them have ADHD but they are to young yet to know. I am anxious to read your new book, keep up the good work.

That's a cool way to look at things Dawn.

Sally - maybe you could take some photos and post them? It sounds very interesting, but, you know it is not too uncommon for highly creative people to do things backwards and in other 'odd' ways. Stick with it; you may be on to something!
