Well, I thought about it and then wondered, why in the world do I want me, or my readers, to be graded? We write our thoughts and put them out there, there's no benefit to being graded on our thoughts - at least, not mine... so I decided not to do it. My grades in school were bad enough :-))

Well, that was a brilliant answer! Your last name sure comes in handy, I must say :)

Thanks Ariane :-)

Cool Ariane... since you have a rather popular blog, let me ask you a quick question. I just added a rating plug-in to my blog at www.adderworld.com, just to give my readers some fun thing to do. I am not sure it is the best idea in the world, because some of my posts do attract a few 'haters' for lack of a better word, but for the most part I receive positive feedback. Anyway, I just started it a few minutes ago and see how it goes... readers can also rate comments too, which I fear may make some uneasy about commenting, but hey... just wondering your thoughts on doing something like that?

Hi Ariane! I started a new group here on ADDer World, Coaching Corner. I'd love for you to join. For coaches, it's an opportunity to interact with the members here, advertise your services, and be listed in the new Coaching Directory. If you'd like to be listed, please send me the information you'd like displayed. Please feel free to add discussions to the group with whatever resources you'd like to share. Hope to see you there!

Hi Ariane! Have you seen the movie Mamma Mia, yet? In the summer, I took my mom to see it for her birthday. We really enjoyed it! Here is one song from the movie:

Hi! The neat and simple website sound very helpful and interesting! I will have to check that out since this is an ongoing issue with my ADD. How did you get diagnosed and what led you to this? My son who had been diagnosed when he was a little boy was what led me to getting my ADD diagnosis. Since then, my daughter has been diagnosed. She receives special education in school and it is a big help for her. I hope to get to know you better.

Have a wonderful day!

Thanks for your comment about my cat. My picture is not really my cat, I stole it off from the internet, however, my cat looks exactly like the pic. He's a purebred Birman. He's everybody's friend and not a hisse--- he's a kisser. I would like to see your cats.

I checked out the website you are working on - Cool and I believe I will join it, have a couple I am on and they keep me busy, but that one will come in handy too! Yeah, my daughter and I met with a few people the other day to go over her IEP and the organization accomodations, so we are gonna help her figure it out. I have a coach waiting for her, but like you said, she has to be into it and motivated first!

Hi Ariane !

Thank you for the links. I'd prefer ask you questions by mail because I'm more at ease with English written than spoken. I will read the texts of your two websites and I will maybe find what I want...

Do you have MSN Messenger ? Because we could communicate this way, if I dont find what I need... Just a suggestion...

Bye bye !

Hello from one partial French Canadian to another! I read your profile and it sounds like me. I was given a digital camera for Christmas 3 years ago. Now, first you should know I have an Art degree and I love photography...with my Automated Canon EOS. (So ten years ago, I know, I need an upgrade) The digital camera frustrated me to no end...argh! Anyway, I put it away until about a year ago. I figured out how to use it, but it's only a 4 megapixel and of course, this frustrates me. It should take clearer pictures! Here I am refusing to use the camera I have while I wait to be able to afford the Digital Automated Canon EOS---nearly $1000.00. Like, I'm ever going to get one of those...phfff!. Meanwhile, my kids are growing up fast and don't don't like taking pictures. Stupid...lol. The same story goes for my Hi8 Camcorder....not digital...gathers dust. Thought I'd share a little piece of me with ADD.
PS. I absolutely adore my cat!!!

Hello !

Thank you so much to want to contribute to my book !

I have a first question for you :

How did you live your young years, as an ADDer child and teenager ? What problems/difficulties did you meet ?

You can answer in writing me to my personnal address : veroniquestmart@hotmail.com

My teenager with ADD got me spazed out today, she calls me and texts me from school and says she cannot find the homework she did last night and it is worth like 200 points in one class and she gets a zero if she does not turn it in! I helped her for about an hour with part of it, so I know she did it and how hard she worked! One teacher said no late work, the other 2 said fine, turn it in monday! She was in panic mode for like 2 hours and then I told her to calm down and just stop worrying about it, I would call the english teacher and talk with her, the kid will have an F this quarter otherwise.

So a few hours later the kid calls me back and guess what, she has the homework in her sports bag and found it at the end of the day changing for soccer! ARGHHHHHHHHHH. I have to talk to her this weekend when we are both rested and in a good mood about the organization issues with her that just keep getting more complicated! She needs a coach to help her with school organization, so I hope she is receptive and then I will call the school and see if they teach that stuff there or if I have to take her to someone.
