Hey Brian...Sorry it took so long to reply, but yeah feel free to use the dragon and slogan. I didn't "create" either but I put them together using a PS brush pack and I think the slogan was from someone that works for the doctor who wrote "driven to distraction"

Hi Bryan. Thanks for the welcome. I'm excited to have found your site because this is all really new to me, and I need all of the info and support I can get. I'm 45 and was just diagnosed this year. I've suspected for awhile, but when the signs started showing up in two of my daughters, I knew I needed to put on my own oxygen mask first so that I could help them, too. Thanks for doing this!

Thank you.
I have been working in children's mental health for approximatley 10 years. Over that time I have met and worked with a number of wonderful creative and imaginative clients with ADHD/ADD. It often amazes them when we talk about the positvies of having ADHD/ADD. Currently I am working in the forensic field with adolescents who have conflict with the law. I am often told of the benefits that marijuana has in helping clients with focus and hyperactive behaviour. I am very interested in finding research on the topic? Do you know of any unbiased research on this topic? I would like to learn more.

Hello

Thanks, I have ran restaurnats for 15 years. I love it but the staff and the managers get frustrated becasue of my forgetfulness. It is stressfull since I have to run a 35000 sf building with games, food and drinks. There are 210 large games that have sound and lights and all go off at the same time. Imagine how distracted I get. Ceramics helped a lot, it was quiet and peacefull. I used to teach it in CO. For some crazy reason, I decided to move to Tempe and now Dallas. It was an impulse. Where do you work now?

Hi Bryan! How are you and Joan doing? Did you have fun with your recent photo shoot? I used to work in photography many years ago when I lived in Las Vegas, NV. I was responsible for doing the makeup artistry and hairstyling. It was a very enjoyable job and it was great to see my work in print!

Looks like this evening the Steelers will be back in action! I am not sure who they are playing tonight, but I hope that it is a great game! Enjoy!

Hi Bryan,
Thanks for taking the initiative to put something as unique as ADDerworld together. It's a nice respite for ADDers to come share in a safe and secure environment. p.s. thanks for the kind words.
Thanks much, Scott Goddess

Hi Bryan!

Have you been watching any Steelers games, yet? After such an amazing season that they had, we are all feeling pretty psyched for what this season new brings!

Have a wonderful day!

A belated thank you Bryan. It's been a big summer of diagnosis in our family. Our 11 year old son finally got all his neuro testing done and came back with: a visual LD, generalized anxiety disorder, separation disorder, shadow OCD (almost, but not quite) and ADHD. He has a funky heart valve so can't go on ADHD meds, but doctors think once the anxiety is better the ADHD symptoms will improve, and I think they are.

My husband, after reading your book and listening to me read some other stuff to him this summer decided maybe he should get a full diagnostic work-up too. We were shocked and surprised that the Dx came back AS! He's a veterinarian for heavens sake, and does so well with his clients, they love him.

So, I have a lot of anger, guilt, more anger etc. after thinking that eventually he'd "learn" some of the social/relationship stuff and I feel so crushed to find out he never may. My therapist told me that after 35 years of marriage, I should know that what I married is what I got, but DH has made so many improvements from where he was when we first started dating. I guess hope used to spring eternal, but I don't know anymore. I'm so tired of doing all the "thinking" for the family.

We went to the beach (an hour away) yesterday and DH forgot: the food, his car keys and wallet and the map book. It was a strained trip at best instead of the fun outing it was supposed to be. I am so worn out.

Well, back to work, desk work. I took a break from the BORING papers to write. Thanks for listening.

Hello Bryan! I have not been able to successfully send a message to another member on ADDer World. When I attempted to send a message, a pink alert showed up on the top left side of my computer screen stating that there was technical difficulty at the time.

In addition, there has been problems with the chat line in which it is not functioning properly to post the comments that individuals are typing. For a while last night, the chat stated that there were over 10 members on at the same time, but then it changed over to a much lower number. It appeared to be inaccurate.

I will keep an eye out this weekend to see if there is an improvement or not. If anything changes, I will let you know.

Hi Bryan! How are you doing?

I wanted to let you know that ADDer World appears to be experiencing technical difficulty for the past few days. I am sure that whatever is wrong it is probably temporary and Ning.com will take care of it.

Do you have plans for the Labor Day weekend? Whatever you do, enjoy yourself!

Thanks for the welcome message Bryan. The couple articles I've read so far have struck home with me and I will be digging deeper into the site as time permits. Great site!
