Hi! Thank you for joining the "GIRLY GIRLS BEAUTY GUIDE!" Feel free to leave comments or suggestions on your favorite beauty products! Have a beautiful day!
Last night, I went online to see what I could find about Vyvanse. I read information directly from the companies website, which was helpful.
However, the one side effect that they listed that is my big concern is insomnia. I already struggle with that issue and I do not want to be up all night. Have you had much insomnia from this medication? How much weight loss?
So tell me more about Vyvanse. Is this a stimulant? Have you had any side effects? Any weight gain or loss? How does this compare with Concerta or Ritalin? I would love to hear more! Thanks!
Hi! I read your profile and I have to ask you, what is Vyvanse? Is this a natural remedy or actual medication for ADHD? I was diagnosed with ADD about 11 years ago, after my son was diagnosed. I am challenged with the symptoms of ADD, but I think that I have learned to compensate, too. My husband is very supportive and helpful to me and my kids.
How are things? I've just managed to tick off the other French teacher at my school.
Evidently I showed two films last year that were on her list to show, not mine. So one of those films was her lesson plan for today and when she went to turn it on, the girls were like, "Oh, we've seen that!"
Of course, we had a list about who was supposed to show what, but I lost it. Plus, I was sure I "knew" what was on the list, so I didn't look anyway. Wouldn't have mattered if I hadn't lost the list, I still wouldn't have looked.
So I've apologized and offered up one of my films for her to show but she's still mad. Sigh. This is a fairly typical occurrence in my life.
But at least I know what it is - I used to think I was maybe malicious or something, but now I know it's the ADHD in action.
I know - school is just crazy this time of year. I continue my losing things and then finding them - the latest bugaboo is the girls' signed permission slips. There are all these events, service and otherwise, that the girls have to get parental permission to attend.
So the girls in my homeroom turn them into me and - I lose them. So far, they turn back up, but I suspect my streak is ending.
Do you do parent conferences soon? Our 2nd grade son's is tomorrow night and my school does them the 3rd week of Oct.
Hi Cyndie - How's your week? I lost the reimubursement form for the fall conference today - or deleted the email with the attachment or...who knows? :-) Anyway, I had to laugh, thinking about our recent conversation!
I love the scanner/color printer story! I love the inventiveness of it - I do stuff like that all the time - come up with schemes that can serve as backup for those inevitable times I lose/forget/get confused...
What grade and subject do you teach? For me, it's French and the yearbook gig.
