What does it mean? It means joy and sorrow, decision and indecision, triumph and sometimes a feeling of failure. For me it has been hard to accept that my son has to be on these meds that give him tics and decrease his appetite to a point of my worrying about his weight, but knowing that these same meds are neccessary for his very quality of life.
