Sarah Gardner replied to Olga's discussion Sensitive subject but - Are any of you on anti depressant meds? If yes, which one?
"Thanks for the reminder.  I have been getting more sleep lately and eating healthier than I have in a year.  A couple of days in a row of quality sleep and a good meal sure does help."

Sarah Gardner replied to Olga's discussion Sensitive subject but - Are any of you on anti depressant meds? If yes, which one?
"I am taking 150mg Effexor XR daily and so far. it has helped me more than any other.  Prior to being prescribed Effexor, I was taking Celexa 40mg daily.  I have not experienced any noticeable side effects.  To be blunt and to the…"

Starting Over

I'm going to start back on my medication after being off it 1+yrs.  Wandering thoughts have me leaning toward next month.  This past year held new stress', month after month.  I've gone from being a heavy coffee drinker all my life to not drinking any.  Daily energy drinks and my favorite high content soda have dwindled to a couple a month.  After 5+yrs not smoking, I'm smoking again.  Unexplained nausea has been the main culprit for all the changes.  I've been evaluated thoroughly by my main…See More

Sarah Gardner replied to Dana Arcuri's discussion Are ADDers Drama Magnets?
"I agree.  Folks without ADD/ADHD live totally boring lives.  I do not think we are drama magnets.  If the "normal" folks had as much going on in their lives as ADD/ADHD people do, they wouldn't have time to meddle in…"

I Can't Get On Schedule with My Medication

Since I was diagnosed with ADD I am having a very difficult time taking my medication.  I find myself becoming energized after midnight no matter if I have taken my medication, half my medication, or none at all.  I find myself more often than not, staying up all night till the early am hours.  I usually become tired around 5am and sleep till roughly 11am.  When I awaken I will usually take only half my Medication to compensate for sleeping half the day.  Sometimes I just won't go to sleep or…See More
